    We are upgrading your server with all new hardware, as well as a major upgrade in the OS to centOS 6.x

    We will begin the transition on Friday, 5/6, beginning at 8:00 PM [EST] and be completed the following day after all has propagated.

    All IP addresses will remain the same, and the new server will remain housed at the same NOC. This means nothing is needed at your end. There will be minimal downtime Saturday morning during propagation.

    You should not make any changes on your site after 8pm [est] on Friday 5/6 to avoid needing to redo them on Saturday 5/7.

CUSTOMER NOTIFICATION: EMERGENCY UPS MAINTENA (Resolved)

  • Due to a faulty cable we will be performing emergency maintenance on one of our 100 Delawanna Avenue power systems. This maintenance is scheduled to be performed on Saturday, June 23th; between the hours of 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.  In order to replace the failed component we will need to switch the UPS in question into bypass mode.  During this time the equipment connected to the UPS will not have battery backup power enabled however we will be running on generator to minimize the risk of power outages to any equipment. 

    Even with all of the precautions and preparations we are taking there is a chance that a portion of the servers we host will lose power, and while we will have all available staff onsite ready to react to that situation if it occurs we are not predicting any outages. 

    As always we do suggest you take the time to make sure all backups you have are up to date and functional as should be the case at all times.  If you have questions about the state of your backup procedures, please contact support.
